It’s a known fact that as we age, our skin loses elasticity and firmness; it becomes weaker and thinner which allows wrinkles to set in. Did you know that we actually lose a teaspoon of collagen from our faces every year after age 30!? Crazy, right? This is why we need to supplement our skin with products like serums and moisturizers. The Reviv-C 36% Vitamin C Serum from RevivSerums is one that helps to improve your skin in many ways.
This serum visibly lessens lines and wrinkles, improves skin texture and firmness, reduces age spots and uneven tone, erases post-acne hyperpigmentation, and protects against superoxides. As someone in their late 30s with aging skin who still has the occasional breakout (even more now due to the stress of our new normal), a product like this is invaluable. My main concerns are fine lines and post-acne hyperpigmentation.
My duty to you: I received this product to try out and evaluate for free. I don’t sugar-coat and always give my 100% honest opinion - good AND bad!
My Experience with Reviv-C Serum
I have been using the product for about two weeks now. I’ve taken before and after pictures below and I can see a slight difference. There are some dark spots that are much lighter or not visible anymore, so that’s a good thing. A product like this is only going to get better over time.
The serum is basically a clear liquid that looks like water. It’s easy to apply by dispensing into your hand (with the included dropper) and then patting onto your face. You have to be very careful, though, around the eye area. Reviv-C Serum is very potent and if you get it into your eyes it will burn (I learned the hard way). Besides that, I haven’t noticed any adverse reactions or side effects at all.
I’m still not sure how much to use (I can’t seem to find the specifics anywhere). For now, I’ve been using 6 drops mixed with Aloe Vera gel (because I have sensitive skin). I do this when I wake up and after washing my face, of course.
This dosage has been working well for me. Considering the large bottle and the small amount I’ve been using, this bottle is going to easily last a few months. This makes it well worth the steep price tag.

Final Thoughts
The powerful Reviv-C serum can be compared to industry bestsellers like:
- Dermadoctor Kakadu C 20% Vitamin C Serum with Ferulic Acid & Vitamin E
- SkinCeuticals Phloretin Ferulic Serum
- SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic with 15% l-Ascorbic Acid
- Peter Thomas Roth Potent-C Power Serum with 20% TDHA
However, it’s less expensive than all of those brands, so you truly have nothing to lose in trying it. If you’re over the age of 30, this serum is a must-have.
Also, if you’re stressing even more now with the pandemic going on, you’re probably also going to notice more signs of aging and/or blemishes because sadly, stress literally and physically shows on your face! This serum can and will help you to look better which in turn helps you feel better.
Honestly, RevivSerums is a brand that I trust. All of their products that I’ve had the honor of trying out have worked very well for me. If you do give it a try, be sure to stop by and let me know how you like it in the comments!
