I’m a huge tea lover and I’m also a believer of herbal healing. I often turn to herbs to help me feel better instead of conventional meds. Dandelion root is an herb I’ve had my eye on for years because whenever I search for herbs that help with PCOS, it always seems to come up. Plus, it’s also good for digestion, which means for me I can use it for my PCOS and GERD issues.
This is why I was so happy for the opportunity to try out Kiss Me Organics Organic Dandelion Root Tea with hibiscus and cinnamon. Not only does it support healthy digestion, but it also aids in liver and kidney detoxification.
I sometimes feel like I have an overactive bladder because I’m constantly running to the bathroom when I drink something. So, I can definitely benefit from a kidney detox as well. Let’s just say, dandelion root tea is an all-purpose solution for many of my issues and may just be the miracle tea I’ve been looking for!

Why Choose Kiss Me Organics Dandelion Root Tea?
Kiss Me Organics explains it best on their dandelion root tea product page. Read for yourself:
- SUPPORTS HEALTHY DIGESTION, KIDNEY HEALTH & LIVER FUNCTION: Detox the liver and kidneys from toxins that can build up over time. Healthy digestion helps the body to absorb more nutrients and improve physical and cognitive functions.
- RAW & ORGANIC Raw: Dandelion Root is extremely nutrient rich and provides more vital minerals and vitamins to your body when compared to roasted Dandelion Root.
- VITAMIN RICH: Raw Dandelion root is rich in Vitamins A, C, D, and B-complex plus Iron, Potassium, and Zinc. A diet rich in these nutrients can help treat mood disorders, and liver disorders and boost a weakened immune system.
- HIBISCUS & CINNAMON: While enhancing the earthy flavor, and adding a hint of flowery sweetness to every cup; Hibiscus has been shown to help regulate blood pressure and Cinnamon has been shown to regulate blood sugar and reduce bad cholesterol.
As you can see, these are all great reasons to drink Dandelion Root tea on a weekly or even daily basis. Plus, Kiss Me Organic’s addition of hibiscus and cinnamon adds even more health benefits!
My Thoughts on This Dandelion Root Tea
As stated above, this tea does have a very earthy flavor, but it’s light and delicate as opposed to strong and overpowering. Neither the hibiscus nor cinnamon are very noticeable. You can taste a little spice (kind of like a chai-type flavoring) mixed with the Dandelion Root, but it all goes together really well.
I do add some sweetener to mine, so I can’t tell you how it tastes without it. I know that I don’t need as much as sweeter as I use with black tea or Matcha green tea. So, that leads me to believe that it has a little sweetness on its own thanks to the hibiscus and cinnamon. It also has a nice dark golden color to it - very eye appealing.
As someone who loves tea and has tried many varieties, I must say that this one is really delicious. I usually make a big cup using two tea bags and it’s gone before I know it! Plus, I always seem to want more when it’s gone. I can’t say this about all the teas I’ve tried, but this one is just really good and warming.
When you order from Amazon, Kiss Me Organics includes 5 packs of 20 tea bags, which is really generous! That’s 100 tea bags, which is going to last you a good 2 to 3 months depending on how often you drink it and how much you drink per setting.
I couldn’t be happier with the amount of tea in each bag. I included an image above of the tea bag opened up and poured out so you can see what’s inside. I’ve purchased tea bags that didn’t even have half as much as what’s included in these tea bags, and it’s really disappointing. With this tea, you really do just need one bag per cup.
Kiss Me Organic’s Dandelion Root Tea tastes good and is really good for you. What more can you ask for in a cup of tea?
