This Shea Butter Body Cream by CNAAN Doubles as a Hair Mask!

Note: This was resurrected from Tumblr thanks to Google cache and was originally posted on August 2, 2016.

A couple days ago, I did a review on CNAAN’s Shea Butter & Aloe Vera Hand Cream. This is a body cream by the same company that is pretty similar to the hand cream. It has a super thick consistency (almost like cream cheese), smooth texture, natural ingredients, and a strong scent. Additionally, it doubles as a hair mask, which is pretty cool and makes it an even smart buy (if you ask me).

The only downside to this is the strong powdery and lavender scent that it has (and lingers for some time after applying). It’s stronger than the hand cream and bothers my sensitive nose if I use too much at one time. So, I have to use it sparingly.

Besides the strong scent, I have no complaints. This does a great job of moisturizing and nourishing my ashy skin and dry feet. Plus, it leaves me feeling soft and smooth - no greasy. A little goes a long way, which is great since the jar is on the small side (just under 4 ounces).

"Introducing CNAAN SHEA BUTTER, which provides you with a 24-hour moisturization and helps to soften, tone, and smoothen your skin. CNAAN Shea Body butter melts at body temperature and absorbs directly into the skin, thus preventing dryness. Care for your skin with this tropical body butter body blended from organic Shea nut, Cocoa beans, Olives, and mixed natural oils rich in Vitamins A, D & F, which are rich in antioxidant Vitamins A and E to soften and protect your skin.
It also provides a natural UV shield, thus assuring you an all-round protection. The natural latex in the CNAAN SHEA BUTTER helps prevent allergies, stimulates cell rejuvenation and circulation, and hydrates the skin, leaving it with a silken texture. It may be used to help prevent stretch marks during pregnancy and help in reducing wrinkles."
If you’re looking for a rich, decadent body cream with a girly, perfume-like scent, this is a great choice. If you’re looking for a thick hair mask or even a hair moisturizing for your thick and/or dry hair, this works for that, as well. Shea butter is great for many things, so you’ve got a lot of options with this.

My personal preference is to use this as a body cream because I feel it might be too much (scent-wise) for my hair (too close to my nose). However, I may try a little dab one day! ðŸ˜Š
